Here's what you can expect when it comes to your workload. First, learning is your responsibility.
We're here to help facilitate your learning, but learning requires a great deal of self, direction, motivation and discipline from you.
You're responsible for completing all assignments, readings, interactive modules, case studies, discussions, maps, experiential learning, quizzes, exams and other assignments.
Plan to spend a minimum of seven hours a week in online learning, plus another 25 hours in focus study in order to succeed, to help you achieve outstanding learning and program outcomes, we've worked to implement the latest evidence based educational practices into our curriculum.
This includes taking a concept based learning approach, instead of focusing on rote memorization.
There are 48 key concepts threaded throughout our curriculum to help you fully understand and retain the vital information you'll need.
As a nurse, I really like the concept based based approach, because I feel like it puts all the pieces together.
So it's not just me. Memorizing this term means this.
It's more of understanding the whole process of it, and it's make makes it a lot easier to remember and move forward and build on having the right mindset and learning strategies will help you succeed.
