The success of our learners and graduates is the core focus of Nightingale College. The future of health care relies upon the new generations of nurses. Nightingale College’s faculty and staff are dedicated to equipping learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to bend the unsustainable course of the current system and greatly improve care outcomes and the quality of life for each individual, family and community they serve. Through the course of educational learning, Nightingale College’s learners develop overarching and broadly applicable professional nursing competencies:
Client-Centered Care
Intentional Learning with Reflection
Evidence-Based Practice
Decision-Making and Clinical Judgment
Organizational, Local, and Global Leadership
Communication and Informatics
Quality and Safety Assurance
Teamwork and Collaboration
Personalized Attention
Nightingale College’s staff and faculty are dedicated to preparing future nurses who will elevate the quality of health care in the communities they serve. Staff and faculty are committed to connecting with each learner on a personal level to facilitate learning. Nightingale College offers smaller clinical groups that allow instructors to spend more time individually with each learner.
Distance Learning
Along with the personalized care, Nightingale College integrates technology-based learning tools such as, high-fidelity simulation, interactive learning modules via the internet, and learning management systems that bring a modern educational approach. While modern technology has expanded our delivery of education, it has not substituted the individualized relationships that staff and faculty make with each learner. Nightingale College realizes the potential of mixing traditional methods with modern technology. To learn about our Blended and Full-Distance delivery model, click here.
